So this is new.

Okay so I'm new to this whole 'blog' thing... I admit it. So let's not play 'pick on the new guy (I mean girl)' and uh...say something cliche like... let's all be friends??? I guess that works. So the deal with this is you tell people about you're day right? Or whatever else is happening in your life.... okay sweet.
NOW that's sorted I would like to introduce myself to you...

Hey everyone... or whoever is reading this at the current moment....
I'm Laura.
And I have no idea what to say/ type next.

Of all the things in the world I am introducing myself on a computer and I don't know what to say.... typical. That's so stupid considering normally my friends have trouble getting me to shut my mouth. I feel like I am having a conversation with myself, which I have to admit feels pretty awesome! Yeah maybe it is weird but hey... if no one in the world was weird we wouldn't be able to tell what was normal right? And who wants to be normal.... I don't really.
Okay lets try this again.... I'm Laura, currently a high school student (2011 Year 12!!!!) in Australia and yes, I do in fact ride a kangaroo to school. Pfffft NO.
Okay... I am right into art and painting and also media/ digital art. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up as I believe it is impossible for me to ever truly grow up. But I do want to go to uni and move down to a bigger city than where I currently live... which is kind of like an up-sized country Australian town, i.e a hole. I have a younger sister who is an annoying brat and doesn't understand the word personal SPACE. (even though I love her to bits) but as I said in my profile thingymibob I am a tolerant person.... usually... with a very short attention span.
I have a job at one of the biggest fast food corporations across the globe and if you do not know it you either have a deprived childhood or a deprived life as it is a place almost every earth dwelling human knows about. In fact I'd say even astronauts know about it. If I say golden arches does that ring a bell.... not even a  cow bell... okay fine then. McDonald's. Obviously.
I had a pet dog named Sophie who died this year =( and an alter ego named Dave. And he is a ladybug.
Don't ask. Just don't.
Me and my friend rocked up to the last day of year eleven wearing rainbow ties and funky red nerd glasses... just coz we could.
I love basketball even though I had to quit playing it due to weak ankles and swimming, also I bought a new funky pair of togs a couple of days ago.
I cannot sing or play an instrument to save myself and would rather spend my time outdoors drawing rather than be stuck in a classroom. I would rather die than have maths every day. I hate maths.

With a passion.
I'm a sucker for horror movies (especially thrillers) and sleepovers at friends houses with tonnes of Coke and junk food which I really shouldn't eat. I hate not being fit.
I think it's awesome to make new friends and stand out from the crowd.... if people give you weird looks stare at them weirdly for staring weirdly at you.... ! ( coz that made sense....)
I hate it when people try to ruin other peoples day just because their to full of themselves to realise that nobody actually wants anything to do with them.
Hate is a strong word and I really shouldn't use it as uch as I do but hey.... sometimes its the only way to describe how you feel.
I very strongly dislike when you sit in the movies and some 'cutesy' scene comes up and you hear every girl in the cinema go... "AWWW..." or "that's so cuuute!!!" in a really high pitched voice. I just sit there and think... "Oh my god this is so shameful". Actually I'd rather tun around and yell "shut up!" but i don't want popcorn and frozen coke thrown on me. That would be.... unpleasant. To say the least.
Today I discovered I have a serious dust allergy.... I find it weird that I only discovered this when my mum forced me to clean out my wardrobe. =S << why does that look like a happy worried face??? It's not meant to look happy dammit!!! =P
It was terrible though! I was sitting there scratching my eyes out and snifgfling all over the place and my mum was sitting laughing on my bed. my only comment during the whi\ole thing was... "This is ridiculous! Out of everything I could have possibly inherited from you I inherit your dust allergies. Really?! REALLY!"
Then after I had finally managed to sort through all the crap that was in my closet she attempts to sort through my desk... her way of sorting is to sweep it all into a massive rubbish bag. I kicked her out of my room before she could even touch the wood. She just thinks she's that good.
Mothers: teenagers worst nightmare. I would give her the title the Spawn of Satan, but my sister already claims that one. So dragon witch from hell will have to do. At least they both originate from the same place.
My dad's a pretty cool dude though. He stays out of my way a lot, even though I guess I wish I could talk to him more... but you know... he has his manly man stuff to do and I've got my kick ass teenage life going on. Even though I think sometimes it kicks my ass.
I'm on holidays at the moment so I actually don't see much of my parents... mums out or working and dad's at work. My sisters still at school til this Friday. but hopefully I'll be too busy working or hanging out with friends to see her overly much. Sister + Me= serious bodily harm... maybe even being mortally wounded. And hey its on both sides to not just mine.
Oh yeah... I'm also a writer on WEbook... it's a site if you ever want to publish your book/ short story/ whatever online. I swear I should join their promotion team or something... haha. Anyway it's really good and if you ever want to hit me up on it out of pure boredom or something... livetolaughXD. Search it.
And I'm on Facebook as well.
uh soo yes. That's my rant for the day.
Chaio (is that even how you spell it??? =P) for now.
